Sea Otter Savvy is the only organization in the world solely dedicated to reducing human-caused disturbance to sea otters.

Founded in 2016 and based in Moss Landing, California, we're a women-led, scientist-run 501(c)(3) working throughout California and beyond to protect sea otters through research, education, and community engagement.

This is the members-only space for the people who make our work possible.

Behind-the-scenes field content
Field notes from census trips, research updates from the SORCE program, and footage you won't find on our public channels.

Direct from the team
Updates from Gena and the rest of the team about what we're working on, what we're seeing in the field, and what's coming next.
